A Tribute to Paul Matthew Zeller

On Friday, July 1, 2006, the Washington Post published an article entitled, “Man, 24, Is Slain In Shooting at Shopping Center.” This article stated that “a 24-year-old man was shot to death early yesterday outside the Pentagon Row shopping center in Arlington County, and police said they did not know why he was killed.”
This
young man was Paul Matthew Zeller.
He was born on November 3, 1981.
He was the youngest of eight children and grew up in Westcliffe, CO.
He was a kind, caring, sensitive individual who always tried to protect
and defend those who could not defend themselves.
Paul Zeller proudly served his country and survived Operation Iraqi Freedom for a year before he was honorably discharged from the Army; 82nd Airborne Division, in September of 2004. Unfortunately, like so many others, he was unable to survive the war at home...
What happened to Paul Zeller that night? - And why?
Will his killer be brought to justice? - Will his family receive closure?
So many questions left unanswered...So many lives negatively affected by this tragedy...one young life abruptly brought to an end...will the truth ever be known?
